Danny Katz

Danny serves as a talent buyer on Ed Warm’s team which oversees the booking, promotion, and execution of events across the Midwest. Responsible for curating live entertainment at a multitude of venues in the Chicagoland area (Joe’s on Weed Street, Joe’s Live, Carol’s Pub, and two Bub City locations), The Rave in Milwaukee, festivals (Windy City Smokeout and Country Boom), and private events around the country, Danny works directly with Ed to craft lineups that create memorable fan experiences.

A graduate of Northwestern University, Danny was previously a management consultant in Chicago with a specific focus on data and analytics. A lifelong fan of country music, he applied his technical skill set to his passion for music and developed a data-driven talent evaluation framework to optimize concert bookings. By leveraging advanced consumption and engagement metrics across purchasing, streaming, radio, and social media platforms, he is able to handpick acts that resonate with each event’s location, fan demographics, and budget to create the best outcomes for everyone involved.

Danny also publishes reports on his analysis of trends within the country music industry through multiple online publications including How Music Charts by Chartmetric, Whiskey Riff, and String Thirty-Five. Acclaimed by both industry professionals and general music fans, his work has been highlighted in Saving Country Music, Hypebot, and Grady Smith’s YouTube channel.
